In our classroom:
Reading: Please keep working on blending word sounds, what are nouns, verbs, and adjectives? After reading a story we have been looking at the beginning, middle and end of a story. As well as the setting, characters, the problem and the solution.
I will be sending home a little book for the students to read at home. They are to read this book and then they will be given an opportunity to read it to me on Friday. If they can read it on their own they will receive a sticker
Math: We are finishing our study of addition and subtraction up to 10. Subtraction has been the biggest hurdle for our students so far. So, please keep working at home with their addition and subtraction facts. Here is a sight the might help: http://www.abcya.com/kindergarten_word_problems_add_subtract.htm
